As an online marketer, I have to say:
You are really missing the boat by not stating on http://www.runkeeper.com/marathon/ WHAT RUNKEEPER DOES!

Here you've done this incredible PR and marketing to get people to your site, you have a free version and a paid version, but you force site visitors to open iTunes to just find out what the app does. Now that I've opened iTunes, I can see that it's a really good app, and runners will love it.

But forcing people to open iTunes gives them one more step to take before finding out what RunKeeper does. On the web, we always lose people at each step, and many will not be willing to launch iTunes just to find out what RK does.

Quick, update the marathon page to include a short summary of the best features, then let people click to get the full story on iTunes.

I love the campaign and wish you tremendous success!

    Regards,
    Virginia

    Hi,
I am really impressed. I am in Switzerland and bought the very first version of RunKeeper already. It's a great application anyway, and this was very good entertainment. You give a whole new and much more beautiful meaning to word "sandwichman"...

Really impressed with runkeeper.....the automatic mapping, the automatic twitter postings, great job. Keep adding to the functionality because the product is great and will only continue to get greater! Well done.

As I was out running yesterday (using RunKeeper) I passed numerous other runners. That got me thinking... It'd be really cool to add a social networking aspect to the app that will let you know if someone else is using RunKeeper in your general vicinity. This could be fun for clubs and running groups too. Just a thought. Keep up the great work on the great product!

that would be totally cool swdonline
